Food was fantastic, came out hot and delicious. Cheesesteak and pizza were both on point. Will definitely be ordering again.
Excellent pizza, new equipment kitchen out in the open, excellent staff. Very clean. The masculine/male restroom was down, but that was probably only temporary. Very good first time , real pepperoni real cheese very top shelf*
Visiting the area from Chicagoland. Wanted some great east coast pizza, Joey's did not disappoint. Pizza margarita was perfectly cooked. Crispy crust, tangy sauce, terrific all around. Added a ceaser salad for some greens. Totally serviceable, freshly dressed, no dressing packets here. Simple menu, next time I would try a chicken cheesesteak, that looked great as well. If I am in the area again, I would stop by again...
Best well done pizza near Coatesville! Chicken cheesesteak is also top tier!!
We’re still on the search for the best pizza in Chester County! We tried Joey’s for the first time tonight and it was just okay. I was excited after reading countless recommendations but our food didn’t live up to the hype. We got a large pizza - half pepperoni and half sausage, and a cheesesteak. The cheesesteak was good but the pizza let us down.
Warm greeting upon arrival, quick service, sunny dining room. The pizza- so, our area is flooded with average pizza shops that have thick flavorless crust, too acidic marinara and gobs of cheese. And typically, the pies are barely done. Joey's has thin, crispy, flavorful crust, classic tomato sauce and the perfect ratio of stretchy cheese. When you fold the slice, it breaks, I love well done crust. Truly delicious. Worth a quick drive from anywhere near Thorndale. Thank you for taking care in the way you make your pizza. Its much appreciated 💜
Pizza was burnt and they called it "well done". We called back to express our displeasure and was not even offered a discount or apology. Never going back. I would not recommend to anyone else.
So this cheesesteak has been showing up on my newsfeed in that cheesesteak group constantly, finally tried it today. Joey’s Pizza in Thorndale getting rave reviews from the people. I actually lived in Thorndale for a very brief, yet significant time in my life. Never heard of it until joining this cheesesteak group, so maybe new-ish, or maybe just unaware of the happening spots of Thorndale, PA. In any case, this one lives up to the hype. Starts with the seeded Liscio’s roll, which holds up well to a steak with a juicer meat. It all starts with the vessel, and this is a great one. I don’t know anyone that likes slabs of steak, but some ppl do like finely chopped or almost minced steak, I’m one of them. But this is not that. This is some sliced, medium to small slices of really good quality steak. That is probably what stands out here the most. Very good steak to cheese mix. Nothing worse than biting into steak missing the cheese. It has to he incorporated well, and they certainly did here. We did cooper sharp with onion. That’s probably the only minor complaint, onions were cooked great, just wish there were more of them. Joey’s Pizza worth the hype.
